I spent a month in Nepal and the Himalayas the October of 2017 working on two assignments and this body of work. It was a month of pushing my physical limits and exploring a land of mystery. The 12-day trek From Kathmandu to “the world most dangerous airport” Lukla Airport, then to the Everest Base Camp and back had provided me with opportunities encounter the world’s tallest mountains, understanding the Sherpa culture and high mountain life. The indigenous people of this land had shown me their genuine hospitality through the time of my visit. This culture inspires me to carry on my search for the more profound beauty of the humanity.
