A Weekend of Practice

You are invited to join on a weekend of art making and community meals concluding with a casual collective critique exploring connections between artistic and spiritual practices. Come create, dine, learn and envision ways to “hyperuse” a sacred space through artistic practice. Open to all artists and community members.

Throughout this weekend we will create, commune, critique, and dine. As you explore and participate in the HyperUse of this sacred place (The First Presbyterian Church of Chicago), please be mindful of your space and your neighbors. We envision creating a community here where we build new context for our practices, artistic and/or spiritual. In doing so, we hope to foster a welcoming, exciting and respectful environment for creation.

Hosts: Zoe Bean, JohnClaud Valentine Ruder, Timnah Rosenshine, Max Li
Projection InstallatIon: Maddie Ma
Special thanks: Dozzy Ibekwe, Gail Robinson, Dattar Khalsa, David Black, First Presbyterian Church Congregation
