Site is a site-specific body of work that unfolds through iterative spatial arrangements, each forming a space-within-a-space. These configurations create an inside-out environment—both demanding and disorienting—that aims to contain the viewer’s body and thinking. In its iterations, the walls were constructed from shipping boxes wrapped in opaque plastic, evoking a shadow world charged with alienating artifacts. The atmosphere asks for a heightened awareness of one’s own physical presence.
Site engages with the idea of the peripheral zone, using real-world materials and settings to summon the memory of ritualistic human activity through the careful deployment of ready-mades and spatial tension.
