Site is a site-specific body of work that unfolds through iterative spatial arrangements, each forming a space-within-a-space. These configurations create an inside-out environment—both demanding and disorienting—that aims to contain the viewer’s body and thinking. In its iterations, the walls were constructed from shipping boxes wrapped in opaque plastic, evoking a shadow world charged with alienating artifacts. The atmosphere asks for a heightened awareness of one’s own physical presence.
Site explores the idea of the peripheral zone through real-world materials and settings, using familiar objects and spatial arrangements to quietly recall forms of ritual and shared human activity.
