with a disposable 35mm camera preloaded with 27 frames, Max Li takes long walks around Irvine, NYC, and Chicago, to conduct transactional impersonations with strangers. 

A photo is taken by the stranger, of Max interacting with one of their personal items, or imposing themselves at the moment of the encounter. Such transaction concludes with a singed receipt stating below:

"by signing below, you acknowledge the fact that this photograph is taken by you, a stranger who is not affiliated with the artist on his walk, while the borrowed items are returned to you in whole after you take his photo."
